4th of July!!!

Crew's 4th of July outfit!!!

On Saturday night we went and watched the Stadium of Fire Fireworks. They always put on a good show. And Joel said it wouldn't be 4th of July without some bottled Rootbeer!!!

We watched the fireworks with Janelle, Jeremy, and Brody. I bought Crew and Brody glow sticks. They loved them!! I also bought poprocks because I figured they are like fireworks in your mouth....everyone laughed at me when I said that......well I thought they were good. haha

Since the 4th was on Sunday everyone had Monday off too! It was a long weekend to celebrate our Nation! On Monday we went to Park City and had lunch at the Blue Iguana. I love this place!

Just a fun random picture I wanted to throw in. I went up and took my cousin's little girl Lyla for a couple of hours. Crew and Lyla had so much fun together playing at the park!!! Too cute!

June 29th- MY 25th B-DAY!!!

On June 29th I turned the big 2-5!! We had such a fun day. Joel took the day off of work and we went to Seven Peaks and then had dinner at Tucanos! The food was of course delicious. We also did some shopping at a new store in the Riverwoods, Called to Surf. It's a new surf store and they have so many cute things!!

Joel made me a very yummy Birthday cake all by himself!!! He was so proud!

Crew's 1st Time Boating!!!

Crew's 1st time boating was on June 28, 2010!!! We had to go and get him his very own life jacket and everything!! We were so excited for him and from the picture I'm sure he was pretty excited himself!! haha He's like what do you have me in now!!

It was so fun to be able to go out on the boat and actually do something! Last year when we would go I was preggers so there was no fun for me. This year I was able to go wakeboarding again and it was a blast!!

Happy 1st Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day babe!!! Last year I was pregnant with our little one so Joel kind of had a Father's Day. This year Joel was able to experience a full blown Father's Day so I wanted to make his first extra special.

Joel woke up to presents!!! I surprised him with a tennis racquet and some clothes. We have a really nice sports complex right by us with some really nice tennis courts so I thought we would have so much fun playing tennis together!

I also surprised Joel with a personalized ice cream cake. Ice cream cakes are his absolute favorite. I had so much fun planning all of these surprises. Joel is such an amazing husband and Dad. We are so lucky to have him in our lives. Crew loves his daddy so much and has so much fun with him. Joel always says how he can't wait for Crew to get older to take him to baseball games and all sorts of fun daddy son things. We love you Joel!!!

Washington!!!

We just got back from a very fun trip to Washington for Joel's sister, Melissa's wedding! It was so much fun and turned out to be beautiful! The day couldn't have been any better especially for Washington weather. It rained in the morning but by the time we got to the Temple it was gorgeous out.

Crew's 6th time on an airplane. He is becoming a pro at traveling!!!

The Seattle, Washington Temple

On Saturday, we went over to Joel's Aunt and Uncle's house to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa Brown's 60th wedding anniversary. It was so fun to have the entire family there. We had delicious food and enjoyed the warm weather!!!

Crew can sit up now!!! He is growing up so fast. Where did my little baby go? Crew loved playing with his cousins. He loves Zachary who is a few months older than him. They had so much fun playing on the grass together!

We had so much fun in Washington and can't wait to go back. I wish we lived closer by family but it is fun going and staying with them for a week at a time. Thanks for everything!!

Girl Time!!!

I had such a fun week hanging out with my best girlfriends!! Last Saturday was Mason's 1st bday party. It was so much fun and Colin did a great job with everything! It is so sad because all of my girls are moving away. I will miss these fun times that we have together and all the laughs. I will miss their adorable babies as well. I can't believe that most of us are married and have kids. We have known each other for so long. Amy and I were in the same kindergarten class. Crazy!!!

Cindy was in town from Arizona for three weeks. It was so fun getting together with her a few times. She borrowed a baby for the picture because she felt left out. Hilarious!! I love her!

My friend Toni and her little girl Trystan have also been in town. Crew and Trystan kicking back watching a little Baby Einstein!! They had fun together!

We had fun going to dinner and hanging out at the park. The weather has finally been gorgeous and I have definitely been taking advantage of that.

We finished the week with going to Park City on Thursday. We had lunch at the Blue Iguana on Main Street and did some shopping. A perfect girls day!!

4 Year Anniversary!!!

A wedding, an apartment, a condo, a baby, and a house later...... we celebrated our 4 year anniversary on Thursday, May 20th!!!

My mom was also here for ten days. It was so much fun having her here. Last time was a little hectic with moving in so this time was spent relaxing and having quality grandma-crew time. We were looking forward to doing a lot of fun things outside but the weather had a different idea so we enjoyed staying inside where it wasn't windy and raining. Luckily we were able to get to the park once while she was here.

Crew is going to love this park when he is older. We can enjoy it now since we have an excuse to go to the park!!! We are having more fun with it than Crew is at this point. He does love to swing though!!

Yes those pants are supposed to be shorts!!! haha I love my little baby!

Thanks so much mom for such a fun time!! And thanks for watching Crew on our anniversary so we could actually go out to dinner and a movie. We haven't been to a movie together since he's been born. Date Night was a hilarious movie!!!
