80's Day!!!

It was 80's day at work on Friday!!! It was so much fun to dress up and see everyone else in their stellar 80's clothes! My job is so much fun. We are always doing fun things. In May we had a golf tournament, rented our a movie theater and saw Indiana Jones, and then we just had this fun dress up day. And all of these activities are during business hours!!!! It is nice to work somewhere where they take care of you!!This picture totally reminds me of Saved by the Bell!!
The best part about my outfit is that I had everything except for the shirt! Some of the styles are definitely coming back!!
Everyone voted at work and I won for best outfit for the girls and there was a tie for the boys. What a fun Friday!!!

Our 2 Year Anniversary!!!

It's our Anniversary!!!! We have been married two amazing years!! Time really does go by so fast. I can't believe it has been two years already. We went to Macaroni Grill for dinner last night because Joel has class until 11 pm tonight. We both took the day off of work though so we can just play and relax together. I'm pretty sure a barbeque, going to the pool, and playing the Wii are in store for us today!!! I love Joel so much and couldn't imagine life without him. He is my best friend and the man of my dreams. We always have so much fun together and are very spontaneous, which I love!!! Well, I'm going to go and enjoy my day off from work!!!!

Camping!!!

This weekend we decided that we really needed to get away from everyday stresses so we decided to go up to our favorite camping spot in Midway. It was so much fun and so relaxing to just get away and not think about life. We will definitely be coming to this spot a lot this summer. The best thing about this camp site is that they totally have electricity at every site. We just barely found this out so next time we are definitely bringing a laptop and a movie!!! Oh, the plush life of camping. Hey if we are going to go camping we are going to do it right and enjoy ourselves!!!

Graduation!!!

Where have we been......? I feel like I haven't posted anything in a really long time. I guess that is what happens when you work full time. Life is so busy!!! This past week has been so much fun!!! Joel walked at Graduation on Thursday and Friday from BYU in Construction Management. I am so extremely proud of my hottie of a husband!!! The eventful week first started off by Joel and I talking in church last Sunday. Let me tell you, I am so glad that is done and over with. My mom flew in on Sunday so we went to the airport and picked her up. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I worked through my lunch so I got off at 4. My mom was in town and obviously there was shopping to do!!!! I love when she comes in town because we have the best time together. It's fun girl time and I miss that with my mom so when she is in town we fully take advantage of it!!! Joel's parents and sister Melanie and our adorable nephew Bryce flew in on Wednesday night. My dad flew in on Thursday morning just in time for the festivities. Joel's main college commencement was on Thursday at 4:00. It was short and sweet, just the way I like it!!!We were so glad that my Grandpa and Grandma June could drive from Salt Lake to come and be at this very special occasion for Joel. They are so supportive of us and we love them!!!
We were so happy that some of Joel's family could fly in from Washington. Life is so busy these days and it's so great that our families take time off for these special occasions.
Uncle Joel with Baby Brody!!!! He is growing up so fast!
At 8:00 am Friday morning Joel had his School Graduation. It was absolutely freezing outside and I felt so bad for Joel because they made them stand outside lined up for an hour. This weather is crazy!! You shouldn't be able to see your breath outside at the end of April!! This is Joel walking at graduation. He is such a stud and I can't say enough how proud I am of his hard work. He is already so accomplished in life and so driven.
Joel and I with my parents!!! After the ceremony they had breakfast for us out on the lawn. It was such a nice Graduation!!!
Here we are with Joel's Dad.
The flowers are finally coming in!!! I love this time of year.

Friday night we went to Tucanos for Joel's graduation dinner!!!
The Fam!!
Saturday night we threw Joel and Jeremy a graduation barbeque!!! As you can see we have the blue table for BYU and the red table for the U of U. Jeremy, Joel's brother-in-law, graduates this coming week at the University of Utah. We are glad that with these two rival schools present at this party that there was no blood shed!!! Just kidding, they could really care less.
The fun week is over. :( My parents flew home today and I already miss them. Joel's family leaves tomorrow. It's always hard having family leave after so much fun. It takes a while to get used to a quiet house again once they are gone. We had so much fun and we want to say thank you to everyone who came and made it so much fun!!! Back to work tomorrow. :( I took two days off and it doesn't even feel like it.

What era do you belong to?

You Belong in 1984

Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.

LA VEGA!!!!!!!!!!

Me, Joel, and my friend Colin all drove down to Vegas this past weekend for our friend Amy's wedding. We all had so much fun getting out of Utah and seeing the outside world. It really wears on me being in happy valley all the time. There is so much more out there in life then in this bubble. We drove down on Thursday night and we stopped in St. George to see my parents!!! They were there for a convention. It was so fun seeing my parents and I miss them so much!! Friday was a beautiful day!!! Colin and I went to the Fashion Show Mall and then of course to In-N-Out!!! This place makes my mouth water. I love it!!! Can you believe this semi truck!!!! Me and Colin
We saw the biggest trucks!!! You definitely don't see trucks like this in P-Town
Joel and I saw this driving on the freeway!!!! This thing could definitely drive over the Mazda!!!
Taylor and Amy
Here we are at the reception. It was freezing!!!

We all had so much fun after the reception. We went down to the Bellagio and watched the water show and then we were off to Paris for some crepes!!! Yum!! We then went dancing and it was sooo much fun!!! I loved seeing friends and just relaxing!

Both of our families have been traveling all over the place while Joel and I have been working and dealing with school so it was so nice to get away and have a weekend to relax. You don't get much time to do things like this with full time jobs and Joel being in his last semester of school. It's always weird going back to Las Vegas and not having my house and family to go home to. It almost seems like I didn't even grow up there. The weekend has come and gone and now it is back to reality again. Maybe someday our lives will calm down!!!
