Where have we been......? I feel like I haven't posted anything in a really long time. I guess that is what happens when you work full time. Life is so busy!!! This past week has been so much fun!!! Joel walked at Graduation on Thursday and Friday from BYU in Construction Management. I am so extremely proud of my hottie of a husband!!! The eventful week first started off by Joel and I talking in church last Sunday. Let me tell you, I am so glad that is done and over with. My mom flew in on Sunday so we went to the airport and picked her up. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I worked through my lunch so I got off at 4. My mom was in town and obviously there was shopping to do!!!! I love when she comes in town because we have the best time together. It's fun girl time and I miss that with my mom so when she is in town we fully take advantage of it!!! Joel's parents and sister Melanie and our adorable nephew Bryce flew in on Wednesday night. My dad flew in on Thursday morning just in time for the festivities. Joel's main college commencement was on Thursday at 4:00. It was short and sweet, just the way I like it!!!We were so glad that my Grandpa and Grandma June could drive from Salt Lake to come and be at this very special occasion for Joel. They are so supportive of us and we love them!!!
We were so happy that some of Joel's family could fly in from Washington. Life is so busy these days and it's so great that our families take time off for these special occasions.
At 8:00 am Friday morning Joel had his School Graduation. It was absolutely freezing outside and I felt so bad for Joel because they made them stand outside lined up for an hour. This weather is crazy!! You shouldn't be able to see your breath outside at the end of April!! This is Joel walking at graduation. He is such a stud and I can't say enough how proud I am of his hard work. He is already so accomplished in life and so driven.
Joel and I with my parents!!! After the ceremony they had breakfast for us out on the lawn. It was such a nice Graduation!!!
Saturday night we threw Joel and Jeremy a graduation barbeque!!! As you can see we have the blue table for BYU and the red table for the U of U. Jeremy, Joel's brother-in-law, graduates this coming week at the University of Utah. We are glad that with these two rival schools present at this party that there was no blood shed!!! Just kidding, they could really care less.
The fun week is over. :( My parents flew home today and I already miss them. Joel's family leaves tomorrow. It's always hard having family leave after so much fun. It takes a while to get used to a quiet house again once they are gone. We had so much fun and we want to say thank you to everyone who came and made it so much fun!!! Back to work tomorrow. :( I took two days off and it doesn't even feel like it.
